Victor Fregoso born in Ameca, Jalisco, México has changed his life as he has been admitted to UC Berkeley.
Victor comes from an immigrant family and is going to be the first of his family to attend such an important college.
Victor now from La Puente, California, comes from a low-income household that works on the construction industry. Inspired by his older brother to be a good student and pursue the “student – athlete” path through his soccer skills, Victor played soccer at a club level (Arsenal) with the Development Academy standards and was diligently prepared for when he was to be spotted by our program so he could become a serious candidate to attend a great school.
The combination of Victors soccer skills and great grades have given him the opportunity many are looking for. Never giving up, strong character and loving the game have given Victor the perfect recipe to achieve the amazing dream, becoming a great young latino student – athlete and perusing the dream to be an amazing nuclear engineer.
