EVERYONE DESERVES TO LIVE
THE AMERICAN DREAM

Every day in parks and fields across the US, economically advantaged kids, mostly White, are playing soccer for elite clubs. Their patents drive them hundreds of miles to tournaments to be scouted by college and pro scouts, they hire coaches and trainers and by senior year pay thousands of dollars and have their athlete profile pushed out to hundreds of D1 coaches.

But the same opportunities don't exist for young Black and Latino boys and girls. Financial and cultural barriers exist, not to mention the general disinterest coaches have to scout in some communities. Transportation, work challenges and responsibilities limit access and opportunity that most White kids don't have to shoulder.

Why is it so hard 2700 x 1008 px.jpg

WHY IS IT SO HARD FOR UNDER RESOURCED PLAYERS GET RECRUITED?

College coaches rely on elite soccer academies playing in MLS Next, ECNL, and the US soccer youth system to identify talented players. This system is expensive, and many under resourced players do not have the financial means to pay club dues, buy equipment, or travel to attend showcase events where they can attract the attention of college coaches.

College coaches prioritize players from these well-established programs, while thousands of equally talented Black and Latino players are ignored because they lack the means to be seen.
